The Democrats want social media to ban false and inflammatory content. GOP says social media discriminate against conservative voices, which is modern Trumpist Dixiecrat Republican-speak for false and inflammatory content. This despite the fact that false and inflammatory content on social media has done wonders for Trump and Trumpism, far beyond anything it's ever done for truthful rational debate. Actual traditional conservative voices aren't suppressed but have essentially no following on social media; they've been left behind. The big tech lobby puts big pharma and big tobacco to shame, and could bankroll as many big primary or general election challenges as needed.
